Oregon State University saw two draft picks last year, Taliese Fuaga being the first since 2014 to be picked in the first round. The team has sent many Beavs to the big leagues in the past, leaving OSU fans with big names to root for. There are currently 17 past Beavers in the National Football League, here are some of the top names.

JACK COLLETTO

Pittsburgh Steelers

An undrafted free agent signed by the San Francisco 49ers shortly after the 2023 draft was waived before touching the field. He was picked up again by the Steelers in 2024 but was just recently released. It’s important not to forget his impact at Oregon State University whether he was the one running into the endzone or was stopping an offense from touching the endzone.

BRANDIN COOKS

Dallas Cowboys

A seasoned veteran who gets better the more they marinate in the league, Brandin Cooks’ longevity is crucial in his consistency to put the Cowboys in a position to win. His current 2024 stats read nine receptions resulting for 91 yards and a touchdown. Recent news states he will miss at least four weeks due to a procedure last week that caused an infection in his knee.

TALIESE FUAGA

New Orleans Saints

Even though there are no specific stats for offensive linemen, Taliese Fuaga has had a rather quick transition into the league and is adapting to the new pace. Playing 98% of the team snaps he has only been called for three penalties.

JORDAN POYER

Miami Dolphins

After spending an abundance of his career in Buffalo, Poyer has begun a new era in Miami. His stats are limited but he spends his time in the top team categories of tackles, interceptions, and passes defended, with his presence even appearing in run defense. The utility of Jordan Poyer is what sustains his successful career.

LUKE MUSGRAVE

Green Bay Packers

Luke Musgrave clearly puts his work in as he allows himself to become a main target for quarterback, Jordan Love. So far in four games in 2024 he has had five receptions for 22 yards. But throughout his 2023 season he stood out with 39 receptions for 374 yards with one touchdown.

ISAIAH HODGINS

New York Giants

After a 2023 season where he performed for 21 receptions on 230 yards with three touchdowns. He was unfortunately cut from the New York Giants and offered to be on the practice squad which he accepted and is currently active with the team.

JOHNNY HEKKER

Carolina Panthers

Veteran with over 200 games under his belt punting nearly 912 times attracting 42,701 yards with his farthest punt being 78 yards. Currently in five games in 2024 he has punted 22 times for 987 yards with his longest totalling being 65 yards.
