The Memorial Union is hosting election day coverage on Nov. 5 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Horizon Room.
According to the event page, everyone is welcome to join, the coverage will be happening all day so students are able to pop in and out depending on their classes.
According to Mike Mathews who is an event coordinator for the MU, an official election event has yet to happen at Oregon State University.
“The Memorial Union Activities Team aims to honor this legacy and enhance the student experience by offering a space for OSU students to watch and engage in the community on election day,” Mathews said in an email.
Matthews said free food and drinks will be provided while supplies last during the event.
“We will have multiple feeds of election coverage displayed on the big screens,” Mathews said. “The goal is for the OSU community to drop in for a few minutes to catch the latest developments or settle in to take in the coverage for as long as you like.”
