Michael Conforto OF (2012-14)
Conforto was picked 10th overall by the New York Mets in the 2014 MLB draft. After spending the first half of last season in the minor ranks, the two-time Pac-12 player of the year was called up to the majors. In his rookie season, Conforto played in 56 games and tallied 47 hits, 26 RBI and nine home runs. Through 28 games of his second season, the outfielder registered 29 hits that resulted in 19 RBI and five home runs. So far this season Conforto leads the Mets in extra base hits with 11 doubles.
Darwin Barney 2B (2005-07)
The former Pac-10 freshman of the year spent his first three seasons in the pros working his way through the Chicago Cubs minor league system. In 2010 Barney made his major league debut and played in 30 games. Now in his seventh season the two-time NCAA National Champion has played for three different clubs, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and currently the Toronto Blue Jays. This season, Barney has played in 16 games accumulating 15 hits with a .357 batting average.
Andrew Moore RHP (2013-15)
After three successful seasons at Oregon State, Moore was drafted 72nd overall in the 2015 MLB draft by the Seattle Mariners and currently is playing his way through their minor league system for the Bakersfield Blaze. Moore has played and started in six games this season highlighted by his April 23 start against the Lake Elsinore Storm where he pitched seven no-hit innings with 97 total pitches. For the season the former Pac-12 freshman of the year has pitched 36.2 innings, has an ERA of 1.72 and has struck out 32 batters.
Jacoby Ellsbury CF (2003-05)
The 2005 Pac-10 Co-Player of the year is in his 10th season in the major leagues playing for both the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. In 2011 the center fielder earned All-Star honors, won the Golden Glove and Silver Slugger awards, was voted as the American League’s Comeback Player of the year and came in second in the American League MVP voting. Currently playing for the Yankees, Ellsbury has 26 hits, nine RBIs and nine stolen bases, one of those stolen bases ended in a run when he stole home on April 23 against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Dylan Davis OF (2012-14)
Part of a dynamic duo with Michael Conforto at Oregon State, Davis was drafted in the third round of the MLB draft by the San Francisco Giants in 2014. Through 28 games for the Giants affiliate, the Augusta Greenjackets, Davis has already compiled 31 hits and 21 RBI to go along with his .316 batting average. He leads Augusta in on-base percentage with .419 and in runs scored with 21. Davis is the only player on the Greenjackets roster to both pitch and bat, though he has only pitched for two innings with a 9.00 ERA.
