The spookiest day of the year is around the corner, and if you don’t have anything planned yet, there’s no need to go far, with Halloween events planned on campus.
On Oct. 31 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Oregon State University families can head to the Memorial Union’s Family Lounge for the OSU trick-or-treat tour.
According to Kim Rockwood, office specialist at the Family Resource Center, there will be treats at the event, which is open to students, staff and faculty.
The Orange and Black Halloween Festival will be held in the MU across two days, taking place in the Multipurpose Room on Friday and in the Ballroom next Tuesday. The event is free for all students and students must bring their student ID card.
On Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be tarot readings, art projects, spooky treats and a performance from hypnotist Gabriel Holmes, said Saylor Dickerson, OSU Program Council coordinator.
The second day, which is Halloween night, will consist of a performance from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the MU ballroom from magician Hart Keene, which Dickerson said was “guaranteed to blow your minds.”
