Here is the chance to hear from youth about what they think and how they want to shape the future.
Corvallis-Benton County Public Library will be holding a program called “How are they making an impact? Youth leaders speak out” on Nov. 27 at 7 pm.
This program is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Corvallis and will feature high school and college students who are engaged in government, and the public will hear thoughts and experiences directly from these youth leaders.
A press release from the League of Women Voters of Corvallis says that the public can expect the following panelists:
- Mary Parmigiani, Corvallis High School student and member of the Benton County Talks Trash Workgroup
- Lithia Foultner, Legislative Affairs Coordinator, LBCC Student Leadership Council
- Carissa O’Donnell, President of the Associated Students of Oregon State University
- Evan Tucker, Youth Voter Strategist, LWVOR Youth Council
