The Beaver Community Fair will return this September, inviting Oregon State University and the Corvallis community to celebrate the new academic year.
The fair will be held Sept. 27 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Memorial Union Quad and Student Experience Center Plaza. The event will showcase more than 200 booths from OSU and Corvallis organizations, providing opportunities for connections on campus and around town.
The fair is open to the public and free for visitors. Students will be asked to check-in and receive a ticket to enter a raffle for prizes, according to Student Experience Coordinator Saylor Dickerson. The prize list is not official yet, but last year’s fair gave away a flat-screen TV, Yeti tumblers and bluetooth speakers.
“We get really big, cool prizes,” Dickerson said.
The fair has different vendors each year, so returning students can get involved with clubs and organizations they haven’t interacted with in the past. Vendor registration for the Beaver Community Fair is closed, and participants can be found on the OSU Program Council website.
