Common Fields is putting the spook in Spooktober with a month of freaky events to celebrate the Halloween season.
Among the events is a release party for the horror film “Feet of Death” on Oct. 18, which, according to Common Fields General Manager Dave Dalisky, is set in the Pacific Northwest and involves Bigfoot.
“So the gentleman who produced and directed it (James Chick), he worked on Grimm, which was filmed in Portland,” Dalisky said. “I believe (“Feet of Death”) is a kind of comedy/horror.”
There will also be a Q&A with the directors.
On Halloween night, Common Fields will finish off Spooktober with a special spooky drag show, starring Miss Gay Portland XLIX Kenzie B. Valentine. The 18+ event will be the last drag show of the season at Common Fields. Dalisky said there will be a $5 cover at the door.
“We’ll be doing (the drag show) outside, whether it’s raining or not, so come prepared,” Dalisky said.
