The Associated Students of Oregon State University will deliver its annual State of the Students Address on Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m., the event will be held in the Memorial Union Main Lounge and it is one which sets the tone for student-led initiatives and addresses student concerns across campus which may be pressing.
The State of the Students Address is a long held tradition for the ASOSU and plays a key role in connecting with the student body in lending a voice to their grievances. Topics likely to be discussed on Tuesday include tuition affordability, mental health as well as sexual health resources, housing and inclusivity on campus.
During the address, students can expect updates on the ASOSU’s recent accomplishments as well as ongoing initiatives, setting the way for goals for the rest of the academic year. The topics discussed in the address are those which affect students in their day-to-day lives.
The event is public and open to all, students are encouraged to attend to stay informed and engage with the campus community.
