Campus will remain closed until 10 a.m Friday due to inclement weather, Oregon State University announced Thursday evening.
The closure will mean that offices and classrooms will be closed until then, and all on-campus events before 10 a.m. will be cancelled, according to an email to students.
An ice storm warning from the National Weather Service covering much of the Willamette Valley, including Corvallis, remains in effect until 4 a.m. Freezing rain, possibly mixed with snow, has been forecast for the area, according to the NWS website, with a chance of between 0.1 and 0.2 inches of ice accumulation.

Corvallis Transit System and Philomath Connection busses may experience delays on Friday due to the weather, CTS announced on their website. Updates on bus service can be found on the website or by calling the CTS/PC Information Line at 541-766-6998.
Updates on Beaver Bus service, which did not run on Thursday due to the ongoing campus closure, can be found on the Beaver Bus Tracker.
The email states that university employees who can work remotely may continue working, and those “designated to perform essential on-site work” will be working unless notified otherwise by a supervisor.
