Oregon State University’s Korean Student Association will be hosting K-Night 2025 in the Memorial Union Ballroom from 6:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 22.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. and food will be served at 5:30 p.m., according to the event’s ticket webpage.
Tickets for the event are $5, and can be purchased here. Student tickets are sold out, but general admission tickets are still available.
Attendees are encouraged to follow a semi-formal dress code, according to Nahyun Koo, a third-year Digital Communication Arts major who serves as a KSA vice president.
The theme for 2025’s K-Night will be Across Time.
“Since the Korean War, Korea has experienced rapid and remarkable development, which we take great pride in,” Koo said in an email. “At the same time, Korea also has a unique and beautiful traditional culture that we should remember.”
KSA officers will wear both modern clothing and hanbok, Korea’s traditional attire.
Oregon Korean Performing Arts will showcase traditional Korean dance and instruments at the event, alongside a performance to K-pop by OSU dance group Anomaly, according to Koo.
The KSA’s officers are also planning to give a performance of their own.
“We’ve been practicing hard, so please look forward to it!” said Koo.
A fundraiser for the event is currently ongoing through the OSU Foundation website. Funds raised will be put towards performer fees and costs associated with food and venue rentals, according to the website.
