Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei has been selected in the 20th round of the 2023 MLB draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, with the 620th overall pick.

Uiagalelei is one of the most recent college quarterbacks to be drafted in the MLB Draft. Other college quarterbacks that have been drafted by MLB teams include Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson, and Johnny Manziel.
Uiagalelei, a former five-star recruit who transferred from Clemson last winter, is one of the potential frontrunners to win the starting quarterback job for Oregon State this fall.
