Fall term has once again arrived at Oregon State University, bringing along rare sunny days and an annual fair bringing the OSU community together.
On Friday, Oct. 6, from noon to 4 p.m., the Beaver Community Fair will take place on the Memorial Union Quad and Student Experience Center Plaza.
More than 250 organizations will be in attendance, according to Kate Zinke, an OSU program council lead event specialist.
Organizations will include clubs at Oregon State University, community groups and Corvallis businesses. A full list of all tables can be found here.
“We have some new clubs that will be there. Additionally, we will be having the stamp card passport that students can check in to receive raffle tickets to enter for door prizes,” Zinke said.
Students are able to network with other students, as well as businesses at the event. The fair allows the community of Corvallis to come together with OSU.
The Beaver Community Fair has been happening for over 15 years, although a similar event began in 1995 and eventually transformed into this one, according to Zinke. For more information on the event see the OSU Program Council Website.
