With Halloween right around the corner, we asked students to weigh in on their favorite costume choices.

Best Costume: “I think the best one I wore was (when) I was a unicorn princess … But then I remember there was one kid when I was in fifth grade who had a robot costume and it was like a box and he was walking around and that was really cool.”

Best Costume: “I was Mr. Freeze from Batman. I was probably like 6 (years old). It was a sweet costume. I filled this two liter soda bottle up with blue crunch wrap (as a) freeze gun.”

Best Costume: “I think my favorite one that I’ve worn myself was, I was Maleficent one year when the movie came out. I made a staff out of a stick in my backyard.”

Best Costume: “One year I made my own and it was Poncho Man where I wore a poncho. It’s very simplistic but it’s got many levels to it.”

Best Costume: “When I was little I was Elvis Presley. Hands down the best costume I’ve ever picked. I did the wig, the big glasses, the suit with all the rhinestones on the back … it was like a whole thing.”
