Community members assemble animal pens in preparation for next week’s fair at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Corvallis on July 23.
Dozens of community members including families and friends, 4H members and faculty, and fairgrounds coordinators helped to set up livestock pens at the Benton County Fairgrounds on July 24, 2024. This was done in preparation for this year’s Benton County Fair, where 4H members will show their animals they have taken care of and raised, consisting of sheep, goats, and pigs. Volunteers shared a near-tangible level of enthusiasm, and it was further displayed through the care and hard work put into constructing the enclosures in which the show animals will reside during the 2024 Benton County Fair. The Benton County Fair takes place this weekend, July 31 through August 3rd.
