Oregon State women’s soccer defeated Oregon Tech on April 18 at Paul Lorenz Field, earning a 5-1 win in their spring season contest.
The contest was unique; instead of being a regular 45-minute contest, it consisted of three periods of 30 minutes.

Momentum shifted to Oregon State’s corner in the second period, as the Beavers broke through at the 41:50 mark to take a 1-0 lead. This opened a scoring run that would define the match.
OSU Midfielder Adele Schwab added to the tally with goals at 45:00 and 51:40, including a decisive finish for the team’s fifth and final goal.

Oregon State continued to put pressure on Oregon Tech’s defense deep into the third period, though they did not score any more goals. The Beavers added three more shots to finish the game with 15.
Oregon Tech attempted all three of its shots in the third, finding the back of the net once in the third period and avoiding the shutout. The Owls, finishing with three total shots and six saves, struggled to find an offensive rhythm throughout the game.
Schwab led OSU with two goals, while White’s highlight goal showcased the strength of Oregon State’s midfield attack.
The Beavers begin their spring season in the ‘W’ ledger, closing the contest with a strong team performance highlighted by dominance on the stat sheet. Oregon State’s next contest is scheduled for April 25 at 6 p.m. at Paul Lorenz Field, where they will host Oregon in the second of their five spring season games.
