Oregon State University plants Hiroshima Peace Tree

On Thursday, April 11, the Asian & Pacific Culture Center hosted an event called the Green Legacy Hiroshima Peace Tree Ceremony. It was in honor of Dr. Hideko Tamura Snider who was a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing in 1945. A seed from a surviving tree of the blast was planted on the lawn of the APCC to bring awareness to nuclear weapons.
