The Beavers are dancing into postseason soccer for the fourth straight season. Their first dance partner will be the Seattle University Redhawks.

After a 7-5-5 season, OSU will look to make a statement against the Redhawks when they meet at Paul Lorenz Field on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.

The Beavers went 2-1-2 in their last five games to end conference play, earning a second-place finish in the PAC-12 standings.

As for Seattle University, they finished the season 12-3-3  and 7-1-0 in WAC play. Their one conference loss came in the WAC tournament on Nov. 8th

Thursday’s match will be the second time these teams have played in the 2023 season. The Beavers lost the first meeting in Seattle 2-1.

Stand-out forward Logan Farrington will look to add to his goal-scoring record. With a tally of 11, Farrington led the PAC-12 in goals during the 2023 season.

If Seattle U is to pull off the double win against the Beavers, it will likely be senior James Morris who ends up on the scoresheet. His 10 goals in 18 matches were second-best in the WAC.

Whoever comes out of Thursday’s match with the victory will face 11 seed University of Portland in Portland on Nov. 19.
