For those observing Ramadan on campus, a holy month for Muslims which requires the faithful to fast during daylight hours, there are some late night options offered by University Housing and Dining Services.

While all Oregon State University dining halls will continue to open at 7 a.m., select locations will remain open later after sunset. McNary will be open until midnight, Marketplace West will be open until 10 p.m. and Southside Station at Arnold will be offering a late-night program until 9:30 p.m., past their normal 8 p.m. closing time, said Tara Sanders, the assistant director of nutrition & sustainability for UHDS.

“(The program) will feature many Halal offerings that can be viewed on the Arnold Bistro online menus,” Sanders said in an email.

Resources beyond meals will also be provided by UHDS at the Southside Station at Arnold, Sanders said.

“Southside Station has a prayer and reflective space available during evening service,” Sanders said via email.

To see the Late-Night Halal Specials offered by Arnold Bistro, such as lamb gyros and roasted salmon, view the UHDS menu here, and select the “Arnold Bistro” option.
