C3 GameCon comes to Corvallis today and tomorrow

The Corvallis Convention Center will be holding the C3 GameCon today and tomorrow, bringing together tabletop games, cosplaying and panels over the event’s two days.

Doors have already opened for today at 1 p.m., and on Saturday at 10 a.m., with the convention running until 11 p.m. on both days, according to the Corvallis Community Center website. Advance passes for one day, which may be purchased until Thursday, are $12 dollars, while advance passes for both days are $18. Passes purchased at the door are $18 for one day, or $27 for a two day pass.

The convention will have opportunities for attendees to play tabletop games or sign up for panels, and will also feature a cosplay contest, which can be registered for at the event and will be judged on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

In addition, the event will have more than 30 local vendors and several food trucks, according to the website, with the convention’s vendor hall scheduled to be open from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
