Recent Oregon State University graduate Jade Carey is returning to OSU as a gymnastics student assistant coach, the team announced on Tuesday.
Carey is a two-time Olympian with two gold medals with Team USA in the Summer Olympics. She also has won three gold medals at the Gymnastics World Championships.
Carey has been nominated for many awards during her collegiate career and has collected 168 event titles throughout her career. She also has been recognized academically, named a scholastic All-American by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association.
Carey will be joining her father, Brian, who currently serves as an assistant coach on the team.
