The Oregon State Board of Trustees will consider the annual assessment of the amendments and president to the Oregon State University investment policy in a meeting, Oct. 22 and 23.
The general board will meet from 9:15 a.m. to 2:10 p.m on Oct. 23 while board committees are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 22. Both are in the Memorial Union Horizon Room.
The general board will consider a new Tribal consultations policy along with a 2026 board work plan. They will also hear a legislative update and a mission and impact report to assess the health of their efforts.
Board committees will review and approve work plans and investment and auditing reports. They will also hear reports for capital projects, the Administrative Modernization Program, enterprise risk, Extension and Engagement, faculty affairs, and the general counsel’s office, audit, risk and compliance, and compliance and ethics.
The Executive, Audit, and Governance Committee will address a needs assessment in preparation for future board vacancies.
Members of the public are invited to submit suggestions about the ideal characteristics of potential candidates as it is described in the needs assessment.
The Finance and Administration Committee will discuss approving the Field Sports Building to advance toward the design development phase, including the completion of construction documents in preparation for bid and development.

A public comment period will be held for the Oct. 23 meeting and will begin at about 11:30 a.m.
