Three suspects involved in an alleged assault on a 7-Eleven employee in October made remote personal court appearances with their attorneys at Benton County Circuit Court on Dec. 14 at 8:30 a.m.

Defendants Dylan Guido, Kyle Rackley and Riley Westbrooks are set to next appear in court on Feb. 8, 2022.

In the alleged assault, the three suspects reportedly used homophobic and transphobic slurs against the store’s employee. Guido, Rackley and Westbrooks were arrested by the Corvallis Police Department on Nov. 4 and arraigned on Nov. 5.

Rackley made his first personal court appearance remotely on Dec. 9, when he was reassigned to Judge Locke Williams’ docket to track with the other two defendants.

In the time leading up to Feb. 8, all parties involved will have the opportunity to review evidence and documents relating to the case.
