University Dining and Housing Service’s Eco2Go reusable takeout container program is scheduled to return Jan. 23 on the Corvallis campus.

After a hiatus due to COVID-19, OSU students will soon be able to use reusable take-out containers once again again with drop-off locations around campus.

Students can purchase food to-go at any UHDS dining hall, finish the meal outside of the dining area, empty the remaining food scraps and drop off the container to an Eco2Go return bin.

Eco2Go return bins are labeled around campus and a map of each one is located on their website.

According to the UHDS website, the goal of this program is to prevent single-use plastic and other disposables from entering the landfill, so OSU students can take a more eco-friendly approach to take-out orders on campus.
