Oregon Football released their 2024 football schedule with their non-conference and BIG-10 Conference opponents Thursday afternoon. Notably absent from the schedule is the annual rivalry matchup with the Beavers, which typically is played at the end of the season.

For the first time since 1944, both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon will not play each other in the 2024 Rivalry Series game.

In a press statement released in August, University of Oregon Director of Athletics Rob Mullins stated that their goal was to maintain the rivalry with Oregon State in all applicable sports.

However, Oregon State Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Barnes, has not yet addressed whether the Rivalry Series will continue with Oregon beyond 2024.

The status of the Rivalry Series for the 2025 season and beyond remains uncertain.
