Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Amerika Serikat are hosting their annual Indonight event in the Memorial Union on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. that will bring cultural showcases and performances.
Indonight is an annual event hosted by PERMIAS to bring Indonesian cultural showcases and performances to Oregon State University, with this year’s edition called Pesta Rakyat.
PERMIAS is a student-led non-profit whose mission is to raise awareness of Indonesian heritage. Contact information for disability and allergy accommodations are available on the group’s Instagram page.
Pesta Rakyat showcases historical events and celebrates the Indonesian Independence day, according to the PERMIAS Instagram page, which goes on to state, “The fusion of diverse elements promises to make the event both educational and celebratory, fostering a deeper appreciation for Indonesia’s history and traditions.”
