The Corvallis Public Library invites guests to jump into Retro Gaming for Adults.

The gaming event takes place on July 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for all ages and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for adults. Entry to the event is free and will be hosted in the main room of the Corvallis Public Library. There will be snacks at the event.

Consoles will be supplied by 64 Bits or Less, an organization that is known for putting on a retro gaming convention in Corvallis.

While the focus of the event will be retro consoles like the Atari, Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, there will also be modern consoles such as the Nintendo Switch and the X-box.

According to Lily Rojas, Spanish Services Coordinator at the Corvallis Public Library, the event was originally for all ages; however, it was split into two separate events, one for children and one for adults, due to how popular the event would be.
