Oregon State University women’s and men’s basketball teams will compete in the 2025 Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands this November.
Paradise Jam is an early-season NCAA college basketball tournament held annually in St. Thomas since 2000.
OSU women’s basketball will compete in the Island Division of the competition according to a July announcement from Oregon State University Athletics. Their first game will be on Nov. 27 against Vanderbilt University with tipoff scheduled for 5 p.m. PST.
The second game of the tournament will be at 11:30 a.m. PST on Nov. 29. The Beavers will either play BYU or Virginia Tech – whether for the championship or for third place.
The OSU men’s basketball team – who announced their participation in the tournament in May – will take on the University of Evansville at 5 p.m. on Nov. 21, according to an announcement from Oregon State University Athletics.
The eight-team men’s tournament will also include the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, Yale, the University of Massachusetts, the College of Charleston, Iona University, and the University of Akron.
This will be the men’s second time competing in Paradise Jam. In their last appearance in 2018, they went 2-1 with wins over Old Dominion University and the University of Pennsylvania. This will be the women’s debut at Paradise Jam.
Paradise Jam will be held at the Eldridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center on the campus of the University of the Virgin Islands, according to Oregon State University Athletics.
All Paradise Jam games will be streamed on ESPN+.
