There will be a Summer Music Series in Corvallis this year, with free admission on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. through Aug. 27.
The concerts will be held at Block 15 Southtown Tap Room, 3415 SW Deschutes St., Corvallis, Oregon.
There are three concerts left in the series. On Aug. 13., the band Olem Alves and Inner Limits, a band from Eugene, will be playing blues, funk and rock. Big Fir Music will play on Aug. 20. On Aug. 27, Brigand will be playing backwoods blues.
The event is open to people of all ages. There is no age restriction for attendees. There are no limitations on the number of people who can attend. There will also be standing room at the event. The music series is expanded compared to previous years.
A Block 15 representative said that they usually host bands in the summer, but that this is the first time the series has continued through August.
Food will be available for purchase. The menu includes barbecue and soft-serve ice cream.
