The Oregon State Beavers clashed with the Oregon Ducks in their rivalry game coming as their fourth game of the 2025 season at Autzen Stadium at 12 PM on a Saturday.
The opening kickoff went to Oregon, who quickly struck the first blow with a 22-yard touchdown reception by freshman Dakorien Moore, which was set up by two big runs by Jaden Lamar within the first two minutes of the first quarter. Oregon State’s following opening drive amounted to two total yards, giving the ball right back to the Ducks.
After a tipped pass by the Beaver defense that forced Oregon to punt, OSU’s offense then began a 13 play, seven minute drive that tied the game. Junior quarterback Malik Murphy found Taz Reddicks wide open for 21 yards at the one yard line. Beaver senior running back Anthony Hankerson then drove it in for the touchdown. These would end up being the only points the Beavers would put up all game.
Both defenses would cause multiple punts back and forth. OSU even managed to pin the Ducks back within their own ten yard line. However, Oregon would quickly build momentum in the passing game once again, leading to sophomore Dante Moore’s second touchdown pass of the day. This was a 23-yard strike to junior Kenyon Sadiq. This gave the Ducks the lead with 5:40 left in the first half, 14-7.
Oregon State brought the clock to two minutes but was forced to punt. Dante Moore picked up 28 yards with his legs, then found Moore for 23 more to get the Oregon offense to the one yard line. Jordan Davidson was then able to easily run in for a touchdown with 21 seconds left, giving the Ducks a 21-7 going into halftime.
The Beavers were unable to take advantage of the opening kickoff in the third quarter. After bringing Oregon to fourth down after punting, OSU allowed a fake punt attempt to go for 28 yards to extend the drive. Moore would then throw a third touchdown pass for 28 yards to Jeremiah McClellan.
With more electric rushing plays by Moore and company, the Ducks would continue their scoring run with a field goal with a minute left to go in the third Quarter, bringing their score to 31.
Following another OSU punt, 20 seconds into the final quarter, Moore made it four touchdown passes on the day, rocketing a 49-yard pass down the middle to senior Gary Bryant Jr.
With OSU unable to score any garbage time points, the game would end after the Ducks put one more field goal through the uprights to bring the final score to 41-7.
The Beavers continue the season winless, while the Ducks begin 4-0.
