There is a 2-hour delay for the Oregon State University Corvallis campus today, Tuesday, Feb. 5, due to light snow accumulation that fell overnight, according to an email sent out by the university. University-related classes and events on campus from 8 to 10 a.m. are cancelled.

An OSU email sent out advises students to use caution throughout the day, especially when commuting to and from campus.

The National Weather Service forecasts that Corvallis may experience freezing temperatures until 10 a.m. with at least a 10 percent chance of precipitation throughout the day. Its forecasts projects the temperature to fall below freezing again starting at 8 p.m. with a continued advisory for snow accumulation.
