On Sunday, the Harlem Globetrotters returned to Gill Coliseum for the first time since 2012 to take on the Washington Generals. In a game full of high-flying dunks and four point shots, the Globetrotters lead 61-40 in the fourth quarter before the scoreboard was unplugged by Washington center ‘Caged.’ The officials then decided that the first team to eight points would win the game. After some back-and-forth scoring, the Globetrotters ended up taking the win 8-6 with a game winning dunk, continuing their 47-year winning streak over the Generals.
