Redshirt junior Breanna Brown will be participating in the No. 10 Oregon State women’s basketball team’s senior day, prior to the 11 a.m. tip off against Cal.

Brown, who will be graduating this year–along with fellow seniors Sydney Wiese, Gabriella Hanson and Kolbie Orum– is weighing her options about her future.

“Right now I’m planning on graduating with my class. I’m not too sure what I’m looking at after that but It’s kind of up in the air at the moment,” Brown told the Daily Barometer. “Maybe start my masters or go on and look at the pro teams overseas and things like that. Just ready to start my life.”

Brown has started the last 20 games for the Beavers this season and is averaging a career-high 5.75 rebounds and 8.3 points in just over 20 minutes per game. She has also developed into a major key to the Beavers defense as a rim defender averaging 1.7 blocks per game.

Brown has come into her own as a big part of the Beavers rotation this season, and head coach Scott Rueck has also said many times that she has become a vocal leader on the team taking a bigger role during timeouts.
