The Associated Student of Oregon State University Senate confirmed Dawson Yang as the new vice president of the student government to fill a long-standing gap in student leadership. Oregon State University Esports and University of Oregon Esports face off in a Valorant showmatch at University of Oregon’s Esports Lounge on November 10th, 2021. The showmatch consisted of both school’s varsity and junior varsity Valorant teams playing best of three matches. In the first match, OSU JV lost to UO JV 1-2, and OSU Varsity beat UO Varsity 2-0. Valorant is a free to play first person hero shooter with a global audience for the competitive stage. University teams play weekly in tournaments and leagues to battle for dominance.
