Free food resources available to students on OSU campus, city

With the rising cost of college, some students may be facing barriers in getting their basic needs met, but food resources on Oregon State University’s Corvallis, Ore. campus and in the city can help...

Of the 903 students who completed the Food Assistance application in Fall 2017, nearly all of them met the USDA’s definition of being food insecure in the past year. 82% reported having very low food security. 10% reported having low food security. 8% reported being food secure. Information gathered as part of the OSU Fall 2017 FoodAssistance Application managed by the Human Services Resource Center.
