On Wednesday, May 14, OSU’s Waste Watchers Sustainability Club and Campus Recycling are partnering to host a Repair Fair. The fair will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the OSUsed Store located at 644 SW 13th St.
According to Campus Recycling’s page, broken items such as appliances, electronics, bicycles, small furniture, clothing, and computers can all be brought to the fair for repair.
While spare parts will not be provided, volunteers will fix what they can or refer you to where you may find the parts that you need. If you already have parts, they may be able to help you install them.
The Repair Fair is an opportunity for students to reduce waste and learn how to fix broken items for free.
