Student Legal Services is hosting a workshop as part of a series called Know Your Rights on Tuesday, May 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in room 208 in the Memorial Union
The first workshop, on Tuesday, focuses on landlord and tenant rights. According to the event page they will also cover moveout and security deposit issues and “Discuss the best ways to get back your deposit when you move out of a housing rental.”
Additional Know Your Rights workshops are available upon request. Students can access free legal advice and representation from Student Legal Services on a variety of topics when the dispute does not pertain to the university. Students can go to the Student Legal Services website to learn more and schedule an appointment.
