Oregon State University Human Resources leaders are hosting a forum to discuss future plans for hiring practices today from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. in the Horizon Room at the Memorial Union.
In a July 19 email, Vice Provost for Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer Heather Horn said, “the forum will focus on the evolution of search practices at OSU and highlight opportunities to support inclusive hiring. I and other members of the University HR team will be speaking.”
This forum comes after the recent announcement of the sunsetting of the Search Advocacy Program and the Social Justice Education Initiative at OSU.
According to Media Relations Director Misty Edgecomb, the meeting is open to the public, but she asks that no photos or videos be taken.
