Oregon State’s familiar orange and black is wrapped around an official NASCAR vehicle that will debut this weekend at Portland International Raceway.
The car will be on full display for the public and all of Beaver Nation to see this Friday at Parker Plaza outside of Reser Stadium, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Last Monday, the official Oregon State Instagram account posted a picture of the NASCAR vehicle all decked out in Oregon State colors, with the iconic beaver logo on the hood.
The car, in partnership with Toyota and Sam Hunt Racing, will be driven by No. 26, Dean Thompson, at Race Portland this weekend during PIR’s annual Pacific Office Automation 147, a NASCAR Xfinity Racing Series race.
The event will take place Aug. 30 at 1940 N. Victory Blvd., Portland, Oregon.
